Dr. Dzenita Hadzimurtezic

Dr. Dzenita (Jenny) Hadzimurtezic is originally from Former Yugoslavia. She started her Medical school in Sarajevo, Bosnia and during war, transferred to Novi Sad, Vojvodina where she completed her medical school. She worked for two years as a General Practitioner prior to immigrating to Canada. After obtaining her license to practice in Canada she worked for eight years as a Clinical Associate with Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant doing bone marrow harvest for allogeneic transplants, autologous and allogeneic transplants, and managing acute and chronic post transplant complications including graft versus host disease. The last three years Jenny has worked with medical oncology following brain tumor patients, pancreatic cancer patients with a focus on immunotherapy in the treatment of renal cell carcinoma, NSCLC, and melanoma and management of acute complications related to ICPI.
